Session Report for Friday, 09/01/2006

7 Gamers, 4 Games

Of the first four that arrived to play, no one had brought or had any games to bring. Kevin left his games at school. So we played two of the community games from Agents Comics and Games, Tsuro and Ticket To Ride: Europe.

Tsuro

(David, Kevin K., Ty)

I believe David won.

Ticket To Ride: Europe

(David, Kevin K., Gary, Ty, August)

Most of us had never played this game, so it took about a half hour to setup and start playing. Hopefully we played the game correctly. I really had a hard time to get some of connects because Ty would always pick up the locamotive card for his turn. Gary was mostly in the point lead throughout the game, with every one else at least five to ten points behind. Gary placed his last pieces causing the last round to trigger. Gary ended up losing points for the unconnected routes. Ty made most of his routes causing his total to be about 109. I made all of my connections and had a total score of 112. However, I was not able to secure the Trans-Europe Connection Ticket for 10 points. Ty had the longest connection route of about forty cars, I had a longest connection route of about thirty-five cars. So Ty won with 119 points. Overall I think we did pretty well with not knowing exactly how to play the game.

Drakon

(Tracy, David, Kevin K., Gary, Ty, August)

I think Ty ended up winning this game.

Betrayal At House On The Hill

(Phillip, David, Tracy, Gary, Ty, August)

It took a lot of exploring of the house before the "Haunting" to happen. David's character ended up being "Haunted." The scenario for the haunting was "The Girl" which entails a Mummy looking for his fiance, similar to that of "Haunted Mansion" with Ed Murphy. The rest of the party was able to stay alive and banished the Mummy.
