"The Aggression of Licad"

Scenario Description

In a small tavern in a quiet peacful village, a vast army is on the move. The huge empire of Licad to the south is about to embark on a path of bloodshed and destruction. As a small group of travelers who met only days ago, you must save this elven village and it's country from total destruction.

In the world of Trystell, anything is possible and you will certainly face many dangers before your journey is complete. From dangerous mountain paths with 500 foot drops, to thick, murky forests, inside which are fierce dangers never before seen. From assassinations to rescuing refugees, this is an action-packed adventure and a race to save everything you know.

Characters

Mirth: Mirth is a male wild elf and a level 9 bard. He is tall, lean, and has blonde hair. At first glance he appears cold and distant. He is very skilled with the lute and has an excellent singing voice. When Mirth was a child, his village was destroyed by the armies of Licad and his parents were slaughtered. He has always hoped for a chance at revenge.

Gabaniah: Gabaniah is female wild elf that seems to be a follower. She jumps to conclusions all the time and is rather impulsive. Gabaniah is very ignorant when it comes to magic and politics, but tries to hide that fact from others. As a level 7 ranger and a level 2 rogue, she is a skilled tracker and archer. Gabaniah has lived in Gaload all of her life and longs to see the world and have some excitement in her life.

Deloan Vhun: Deloan is a young, civilized human, level 5 rogue and a level 4 assassin. Deloan's driving force is to rescue his wife, who was kidnapped by a race of magical creatures known as Kalids. He has been roaming Trystell looking for a gate into the Kalid realm for the past four years. He has had little luck and wants to find someone who can assist him in his quest.

Nachme: Nachme is a level 7 Kalid mage and a level 2 Kalid hunter. He is a middle-aged human that is very honest and trusting. Nachme loves to fight for a good cause and is also seen as somewhat of a perfectionist. Nachme has been studying Kalid magic for a number of years and is also a spy for Licad's enemy, Grichom.

Tingernaut: Tingernaut is a young handler gnome with 5 levels in thug and 4 levels in spelunker. He is very stylish and loves the latest trends. He loves to mock others and peole consider him to be a royal pain. Like all handler gnomes he is very curious and will "collect" anything that catches his eye.

Mern: Mern is a level 9 fighter and a brawnish minotaur. He is an alcoholic and loves to spend time in taverns. He is incredibly strong and fast for his size. He is a very competant fighter when he is not drunk. For the past several years he has been roaming the lands as a warrior for hire.
